Part of running a business is knowing when you are properly aligned with a potential lead. Clients come in all shapes, sizes, and budgets. they have their benefits, as well as their quirks. learn about what works for me, and who i like to work with.
When I consider a potential client to work with, what I am taking into account is whether they possess characteristics that are consistent with my ideal client. To explain who this is, in short, it is someone has the wherewithal to fund their vision, appreciates the nature of what Lair does, and has a clear understanding of my specialties.
First and foremost, you have to be someone who not only values creativity, but also values the roles that professionals play in delivering creative solutions to businesses.
An ideal client understands the things that I am good at, and allows for me to deliver on those things. I am not here to do work that is completely outside of my wheelhouse—that is, unless I want to. Ultimately, my goal is to provide quality communications deliverables that facilitate the needs of your business, and to feel confident in the work I am doing
Lair specializes in a certain type of look: I like producing design work that is contemporary and modern. I like shooting videos that are cinematic. No matter the brief, you should be picking Lair because of the touch I put on certain things. While part of this is to ensure that I enjoy what it is that I am doing, the greater part of it is that the work I do should be able to speak for itself, and create more work.

While Lair is capable of doing some pretty awesome things, awesome things require the appropriate amount of funding to go along with them. This is not only to ensure that our work is being valued appropriately, but also to ensure that we have the necessary tools, logistical resources and personnel to properly execute on our work. While many things in this list can be worked on, or tweaked for the sake of a client, a budgetary misalignment is plainly a deal breaker.
Have an idea and a workable budget? Let’s schedule a time to talk broad strokes, and who knows? Maybe we can work together.
